I freaked out last night. I was having pretty intense cramps. I was in tears as Joseph was praying for me and our baby. I appreciate all the responses. This is where it started going down hill last pregnancy, but I’m trying my hardest to be content with however long I have with this baby. Today marks 5 weeks. I guess I’m probably going to do one of those weekly updates, I don’t want to be insensitive, I’m just trying to celebrate this baby. I know that some of you may not find my blog as applicable to your lives now, that is completely ok. But know, that I hope with all my might that all of you get your babies, and soon.
How far along: 5 weeks, but this update is for week 4.
Total weight gain: I’m actually down a pound, but its hard to say I’m down from my pre-pregnancy weight, ya know, because I’ve been pregnant for all of 10 seconds.
Maternity clothes: Nope. But I do have some shorts and such from a couple summers ago that are too small in the waist, but I’ve been muffin topping in them about once a summer. I think I’m going to go ahead and convert them to “maternity” shorts. But other than that I’m good.
Stretch marks: No, but I have started to think about getting some stretch mark cream. There are so many choices.
Sleep: Rough. I am super tired, but don’t sleep well.
Best moment of this week: Yesterday at my families derby party, Joseph was holding our sweet niece(born 1/1/14) and it was kinda fun to think that this time next year we’ll be holding a baby about the same size, but baby will be ours!
Miss anything: Blue cheese. It was like the night we found out we were pregnant, we went to Red Robin to celebrate, I wanted a big juicy blue cheese burger and onion rings. We were getting ready to order, when I realized, I can’t have blue cheese. Now I’ve been craving it ever since.
Movement: Baby is only the size of an appleseed.
Food cravings: food, and lots of it. I eat about every 2-3 hours. Maybe red meat.
Anything making you queasy or sick: getting too hungry.
Have you started to show yet: Just the bloat
Gender: No clue. Joseph says boy, I think Girl.
Labor signs: too early..
Belly button in or out: In, but I can hardly wait for it to be out!
Wedding rings on or off: I’m pretty bad about remember to wear rings, but just because I’m forgettful.
Happy or moody most of the time: Easily Cranky.
Looking forward to: Telling our families next weekend.
